How do you verify prices?+

Every hour, our tracker visits each brand directly and records the actual price and stock status of every product. We compare today’s price to the last 90 days — if today is meaningfully cheaper, it becomes a deal. We ignore any “was” prices on the brand’s own site.

Do brands pay you to feature their products?+

No. Never. The order of deals on Gearfinch is decided purely by discount size and price history. If a brand pays us a commission on a sale, that’s disclosed in the footer — but no brand can buy placement.

How do you make money, then?+

Affiliate commissions. When you click a deal and buy from the brand, the brand pays us a small percentage of the sale. It never changes the price you pay. If you’d rather we didn’t, visit the brand directly — the deals we show are the real prices on their site.

Is my data safe?+

We don’t sell your data. Ever. We use PostHog for anonymous analytics (no personal info) and Supabase for our database (which you don’t have an account on, unless you sign up for the newsletter). No ads, no trackers, no third-party cookies.
