Biker, run, training — three different shorts

“Shorts” covers three categories that behave very differently on the price curve. Biker shorts ride closest to leggings — same fabric logic, same cadence, same fit variables. Run shorts rotate more aggressively because brands release warm-weather colorways every spring, which means markdowns on last year’s tones every May–June. Training shorts (men’s 5″/7″, lifting shorts) are the most discount-friendly — higher production volume, less fashion turnover, and brands keep them in the sale section year-round. The biggest trap here is buying the wrong cut at a great price: a 6″ inseam on a 7″-preferring body isn’t a deal, it’s a mistake. Filter by size first, price second.
